The North East Combined Authority was established in April 2014 and brings together the seven councils which serve County Durham, Gateshead, Newcastle, North Tyneside, Northumberland, South Tyneside and Sunderland.
Our ambition is to create the best possible conditions for growth in jobs, investment and living standards, making the North East an excellent place to live and work.
The Authority supports the North East Freight Partnership, which works to encourage safe, sustainable and efficient freight transport in the region and actively promotes FORS to its public and private sector partners,
